Time Walking
The plan was simply to provide our Caiman (a close relative of the crocodile), with his fifth new enclosure since 1977. However, when we decided to raise the roof to cater for a Norfolk Island Pine and then make space for an unwanted Iguana, the project took on a life of its own. Not content with providing them all with the best accommodation possible we also set about explaining the 300 million year story of Lincolnshire on this very spot. The time walking journey begins on the Equator, travels through deserts and warm tropicalseas and all at a time when our ancestors were skulking under stones trying not to be eaten by the Dinosaurs!
